Gaelle Akl
Translator
Gaelle is a young lady who was born with a physical disability; this surely didn’t stop her from completing her Masters Degree in translation at the Lebanese University. She applied to several job opportunities without success or even responses; she believes the reason to be her lack of experience. Since translation can be done online, Tri-pulley searched for a translation office in need of her services in Tripoli and matched them together with the hope to build more bridges between Beirut and Tripoli. She was overjoyed to start her first real job and happy it wasn’t going to be an internship on her CV. The translation office receives countless legal documents for translation and requests for proofreading, which they often reject because of the work overload. For 6 months, Gaelle became an extra hand to the office that is also including a person with disability within their team for the first time!
Tri-pulley counts on Gaelle whenever a translation is needed, she became our official translator for our documents , games and rally papers; saving us a lot of efforts and time!
