Selection Criteria
Based on referral forms sent by NGOs and partners, beneficiaries will be selected and prioritized as per below selection criteria:
Important NOTES:
- Selection criteria may be adapted when required by specific donors, provided that any changes remain aligned with Tri-pulley’s model, mission, values, and ethical standards.
- Selection also depends on the specific profiles, skills, qualifications, availability, and other requirements requested by the host entity. Meeting Tri-pulley’s eligibility criteria does not automatically guarantee selection, as candidates must also match the needs of the placement opportunity.
- Tri-pulley’s assessment of unemployment goes beyond simply having a job or not having a job. Eligible unemployed individuals may include:
- People who are currently unemployed.
- Individuals engaged in precarious or unstable employment with low wages and no job security.
- Individuals working in undignified conditions that do not align with the principles of decent work under SDG 8 and who are actively seeking alternatives.
- Freelancers with irregular or insufficient income.
- Individuals serving in volunteer or internship positions.
- Individuals in low-paying jobs who are seeking a career transition or a pathway toward more sustainable employment.
- Employees whose positions are at risk because their employer can no longer financially sustain the role due to the economic crisis, and whose employment would likely end without temporary support.
- Individuals seeking a career transition who require a temporary testing, learning, or experience-building period to explore a new sector, gain relevant experience, and improve their long-term employability.
- Tri-pulley does not conduct large-scale direct outreach or data collection from potential participants.
- To avoid creating false expectations and unnecessary data collection, Tri-pulley primarily relies on referrals from trusted NGOs, community initiatives, social workers, local authorities, and municipalities. We recognize that many individuals are fatigued by repeated assessments and information requests that do not lead to opportunities.
- Tri-pulley only contacts referred individuals when there is a strong likelihood that they may be selected for a placement. Home visits or field assessments are conducted only at a later stage to verify information and confirm eligibility.
